Revisited my alma mater, Hitotsubashi University, and was taken aback by the iconic sights of Kanematsu Auditorium and the library with its timeless clock tower. Seeing an old friend teaching here brought back waves of nostalgia. The word 'alma mater' truly encapsulates the gentle ambiance that reminds me of my youthful days. Felt like I stepped back into a time capsule to 40 years ago.
大学で教鞭を取る旧友を訪ねて久しぶりに母校を訪問しました。一橋大学の兼松講堂と図書館の時計台です。母校ということば、まさに若かった頃を思い出させてくれる優しさに溢れた秋の空気に包まれました。
ちょうど四十年前の1983年10月。内々定が内定になり、あとは卒論だけだぁあ！と思ったあの時。
一挙にあの頃に戻った感覚を感じることができました。
